Green Hill Cemetery
Established in 1863, Danville’s Green Hill Cemetery serves as the final resting place not only for notable Danvillians, but also for a number of Confederate veterans. Come meander down its winding 19th Century drives as local historian Sharon Hughes shares some of her favorite highlights. Green Hill Cemetery is located just beside Danville’s National Cemetery at 721 Lee Street.
